Personal Details

Patrick Dwyer contributes to the implementation of U.S. monetary policy as Vice President in the Markets Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (FRBNY). He is currently Director of the Discount Window, responsible for overseeing lending facilities for banks in the New York district. He previously had various roles on the FRBNY open market desk, conducting operations in the implementation of monetary policy and analyzing developments in financial markets.

Dwyer has worked at the FRBNY since graduating from SIPA with a Master of International Affairs degree in 2000. He completed his undergraduate studies in political science at the University of California, San Diego. He speaks French and Japanese.
