Social Innovation: Sourcing Capital for Global Challenges
This event will explore how the hallmarks of entrepreneurship — a focus on problem-solving, innovation, and scalable growth — can be applied to the world’s greatest challenges. It will also address the ethical challenges that come with applying market-based solutions in the world’s poorest places and share inspiring stories that demonstrate the power impact investing and venture philanthropy have to take on social challenges. Columbia University students are invited to participate in a moderated Q&A session.
