Columbia University offers an array of degrees, majors, and other academic programs to students interested in European Studies. Graduate students can study in a number of related departments to achieve a MA, PhD, or certificate in a specialized course of study. Columbia’s undergraduate students can declare a major or concentration that supports a focus on Europe in departments ranging from Economics to Philosophy. Barnard students have the same option, and can also decide to declare a European Studies major.
