During the earthquake, the team was in Haiti conducting stakeholder interviews and has concluded that the private sector is integral in the reconstruction of Haiti. In this conference, the students will be presenting the conclusions of the research, with a panel discussion following. We hope that the panel will serve to educate Columbia University and the broader New York City community in understanding the opportunities for the private sector to contribute to statebuilding.
