Student Groups

There are a myriad of student groups at SIPA. While some are regionally focused, for example the Arab Student Association, Eurasia Initiative, The Greater China Initiative, others are policy oriented, such as  the Gender Policy Working Group, Grassroots Social Policy Network . Some are concentration based groups such as, EMPA Forum, The SIPA Energy Association. There are also social organizations such as QUIPASA– Queers in International and Public Affairs,  South Asian Graduate Student Association and many more.

All Student Groups are primarily funded by the SIPA Student Activity Fee. In addition, within each group officers conduct various funding opportunities for themselves.
