SIPASA Happy Hour & Class of 2011 Gift Fundraiser

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Class of 2011 Gift - a special guest speaker fund available to student groups for the duration of the next academic year.There is currently over $4,000 in the speaker's fund, thanks to the Class of 2010.
SIPASA is aiming to raise an additional $4,000 this semester.
Join us this Thursday, let's make it happen!
You can either: (a) donate online and bring your confirmation as proof for entry or (b) buy tickets on the 4th floor.

SIPASA FRIGHT NIGHT
Date: Thursday, October 28, 2010
Time:11:00pm -4:00am
Location: M1-5 Bar52 Walker St (Between Church St and Broadway)
All SIPA students and their significant others are invited to attend.
This Halloween party includes an open bar from 11pm until 2am.
Tickets cost $20 per person.
Tickets will be sold on the 4th floor of SIPA from Monday, October 25th. Purchase tickets in advance because this event will sell out. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
This is a Halloween party so please come in costume.
SIPASA is looking forward to sharing this night of great music, dancing, and ghoulish mayhem.

Location: 501BOur Academic lives are often infused with stress and mental overload. If you feel you would like a few moments in the week to calm down, to quiet your mind and reconnect with the rest of your being, come join us for a weekly, 30 minute meditation meeting.
Many people find that meditating in a group is very helpful. Together, we will practice simple and natural techniques to cultivate peace of mind and concentration skills.

If you'd like to post a question on the discussion board:
1. In the town hall course (SIPAU9999) click on the "discussion" link on the main page.
2. At the top of the page there are two drop down boxes—"change view" and "new." Select "new" and change to "topic"
3. Selecting 'topic' in drop down box #2 will bring up a list of topics. Select the topic relevant to your question and then click okay. A message box will come up on the right to type.
4. Once an initial topic is created, students may simply reply to what has already been written.
