SIPASA is SIPA’s principal student government body
The School of International and Public Affairs Student Association is committed to serving SIPA students through direct student representation and the creation of policy and programming to further student interests and concerns.
SIPASA aims to improve the overall student experience by supporting the management and development of the School, representing the student body to the SIPA administration, promoting student opinion and interests in the formulation of SIPA’s strategy and goals, advising SIPA in the areas of academic affairs, communication and external relations, career and alumni affairs, social affairs and student life, and achieving the aforementioned objectives through programming, advocacy, and policy support.
Every position within SIPASA is an elected post, filled through a ranked choice voting process held during November of each year. The term of every student organization is from January to December.
