About
The CSVA was founded by SIPA student veterans to serve past - current - and future SIPA student veterans.Our membership includes current and former military veterans from the United States Military and numerous
other militaries from around the world.
We have three primary goals:
Foundation: To help new students assimilate to SIPA by sharing information about the GI Bill, the VA, and student life. To host prospective student veterans during campus visits, provide mentors to new student veterans during orientation, and host an information session to circulate student veteran information.
Forum: To provide a forum for discussion of military and veteran issues, facilitate opportunities for student veterans to interact with other student veterans and students interested in military and veteran issues, and highlight veteran perspectives within the SIPA discourse.
Future: To connect SIPA veterans past and present; help SIPA veteran alumni connect with the SIPA community; facilitate the connection of SIPA veteran alumni with current SIPA veterans for the purpose of career development and transition to the workforce.
