SIPA Students of Color

Back to Student Organizations

SIPA Students of Color is a diverse, cohesive community of SIPA students that maintains a personal stake in the support and development of underrepresented students as future policy leaders. Students of Color seeks to disseminate information and take action regarding U.S. policies towards people of color. To these aims, Students of Color collaborates with SIPA administrative staff to recruit underrepresented students and faculty, include diverse perspectives in the program's curriculum, and establish professional networks with alumni and faculty. Additionally, Students of Color will incorporate expert knowledge in panels, workshops, and lecture series to increase awareness of issues affecting marginalized communities.
