SIPA Food Group
The mission of the SIPA Food Group is to provide a forum for students to explore issues of food security, nutrition, agriculture and ecological sustainability of food systems. By hosting a series of lectures, panel discussions and cultural events, SIPA Food aims to promote educational and professional opportunities for students by engaging with leading policymakers, practitioners and academics in the field as well as a network of fellow students in the greater NYC community. Additionally the group brings students together around a shared appreciation of food culture and encourages inquiry into interactions of food and society.
