Back to Student Organizations

JASSA is open to all who are interested in Japanese politics, economy, culture and language. The goals of the group are:

  1. To establish a mutually-beneficial friendship between Japanese students and students from other countries by introducing Japanese politics, economy, history and culture;
  2. To provide information for recruiting and internships to students seeking job opportunities in Japan;
  3. To assist students in their study of Japanese language;
  4. To increase the level of interest and awareness of Japan in the greater Columbia University community.

We welcome all students, Columbia affiliates, non-Columbians who are interested in Japanese affairs, regardless of Japanese Language skills. For more information, please email: jassa.columbia@gmail.com.
