Welcome to the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. Throughout this site you will find detailed information on several different programs of graduate study, as well as information on the Columbia community. SIPA offers six programs: Master of International Affairs (MIA), Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Public Administration in the Program in Economic Policy Management (PEPM), Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA), Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy (ESP), and a PhD in Sustainable Development. Career Services
The mission of the Office of Career Services (OCS) is to provide SIPA students and alumni with the necessary tools to successfully manage their professional development throughout the life span of their career through employer outreach, career education, and career counseling services.

Computing

SIPA Computing
SIPA Computing provides its own network-based computing services for the school, in addition to computing services provided by Columbia University.

Audiovisual and E-rooms
SIPA provides audio visual and electronic classroom support for the curriculum.

Academics

Student Affairs
Student Affairs provides a broad array of services for current students. The online resources keep students informed about current academic news, reviewing policies and procedures, and downloading frequently used forms.

Faculty and Curriculum Affairs
The Office of Faculty and Curriculum Affairs manages the curricular offerings of the school, teaching evaluations, and faculty searches and reviews.

Other Services

Student Life
The SIPA Student Association (SIPASA) and a host of other student groups explore a wide range of interests, through publications, events and a vibrant social calendar.

SIPA Human Resources
SIPA Human Resources provides information for faculty, staff, administration, and students working at SIPA.

Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations strives to connect over 10,000 SIPA alumni with one another, with the school and with the broader community of Columbia University in ways that promote the interests of our students, faculty, and graduates.
