Financial Aid
Financing a graduate education is a challenge. To assist in this regard, SIPA's Office of Admissions and Financial Aid is able to offer financial aid to most of our students, usually in the form of loans, fellowships, and work study with eligibility based on merit and financial need.
Many SIPA students also bring in free money of their own by performing research and putting in time to apply for free funding through external sources. For the 2007-2008 academic year students brought in close to five million dollars of free money that does not need to be repaid upon graduation.
Information about the financial aid process is detailed in the links in the menu on the right hand side of this page. If you have questions or concerns about the financial aid process after you have read through the material on this page, you can email or call the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. Most of the forms required during the aid process are available in this office (420 West 118th Street, 616 IAB) or via the financial aid forms link on the right.
