Career Services for Prospective Students
Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) is one of the world's leading graduate schools devoted to the study of international affairs and public administration. SIPA and its Office of Career Services (OCS) have been successfully preparing students to work in private, public, and nonprofit organizations since 1947.
The mission of OCS is to provide students and alumni with the necessary tools to successfully manage their professional development throughout their careers. We accomplish this through career advising, a professional development course, career events, recruitment and employer outreach programs, and the SIPA Alumni and Student Network on LinkedIn. Students and alumni are encouraged to partner with OCS and dedicate time to independent research and networking to build bridges with the professional world.
