Alumni/Student Networking Reception
The New York City Career Series aims to inform students of employment opportunities in their fields of interest, introducing them to SIPA alumni and professionals working in New York City area. We welcome you to join us for an Alumni/Student Networking Reception on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Studio 450 (450 West 31st Street, between 9th and 10th Ave.) from 6:30-8:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to see old friends and to meet some of our most talented students.
Informational Interviews
You are also cordially invited to participate in a networking opportunity for SIPA students on Friday April 25, 2008. It would be wonderful if you could make yourself available for pre-arranged informational interviews with students, at a mutually agreed time and location (i.e. your office or other locality). The purpose of these interviews is to provide students interested in your career field the opportunity to ask questions, seek career advice and learn more about the sector in which you work. Depending on your preference, the interviews may be in an individual or group format. Students have been instructed to contact participating alumni directly by April 18, 2008 to schedule informational interviews.
How to Register
To participate in the Reception and Informational Interviews, please fill out the form below. Once you have submitted your information, it will be forwarded to students who have registered for the NYC Career Series. We recognize that some of you have already sent your contact information to the Office of Career Services for the Alumni Career Advisory Program (ACAP) and the Alumni Connections Directory. This list, however, is a list of alumni specifically willing to meet with students on April 25, 2008.
Your willingness to give career advice to current students is very much appreciated.
