Alumni Affairs
It is the mission of the SIPA Office of Alumni Affairs to keep graduates engaged in the life of the school. We encourage alumni to support SIPA’s students and their fellow alumni through career mentoring and recruitment, to promote the school among prospective students, and to support our fellowship program and other pressing needs through charitable gifts. We strive to reconnect alumni to the school and the university, to facilitate the participation of SIPA graduates in Columbia’s alumni activities, and to provide a functional network of SIPA alumni around the world. The SIPA Global Connection Alumni Directory, launched in 2007, is a valuable tool in building this network.
All alumni are members of SIPA’s network upon graduation. Throughout the year and in a growing number of regions and cities across the globe, we try to sponsor events that provide alumni with meaningful social, intellectual and professional networking opportunities.
