Alumni Day to Feature World Bank's Kopech
Robert Kopech MBA '76, MIA '77 of the World Bank, will be the keynote speaker at SIPA's annual Alumni Day on April 28. The day will also feature panels on the human rights crisis, the November election, and energy and climate change, plus a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Program in Economic Policy Management (PEPM). The day will be capped off with SIPA's first-ever reunions.

Launch of Center on Global Economic Governance (CGEG)
On April 26, 2012, SIPA will broadcast live the launch of the Center on Global Economic Governance. Alan Krueger (pictured), Chairman, White House Council of Economic Advisors, will be the keynote speaker. The launch will feature a panel discussion entitled "Will Europe Derail the World Economy?" featuring Jan Svejnar, Guillermo Calvo, Jeffrey Sachs, Kathleen Hays, Merit Janow, and Sharyn O'Halloran.
