SIPA Scores Breakthrough in Healthcare Management Challenge
For the first time, an all-SIPA student team won first place in the Healthcare Delivery and Management Case Challenge at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. The winning team members are Elena Resk, Maria Soledad Guilera, Vladimir Olarte, Pau Suris, and Alexis Smith. The team's advisor is Amireh Horriyat, a SIPA teaching assistant. The teams presented proposals for how to manage a biopharmaceutical company facing a potential merger or acquisition by another company.

Anisa Kamadoli Costa
Alumna Directs Philanthropy/CSR at Tiffany & Co.
Anisa Kamadoli Costa (MIA ’98) was appointed President of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation. She also serves as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Tiffany & Co. In this dual role, Costa oversees the company’s global corporate responsibility agenda and directs philanthropic giving for the Foundation in the areas of environmental conservation and the decorative arts.

Digital Media as a Means to Social Change
