Lisa Anderson published "The Ex-Presidents" in the Journal of Democracy. Anderson is the former Dean of SIPA and the James T. Shotwell Professor of International Relations on public service leave as provost of the American University in Cairo. In her paper, Anderson examines the factors that influence leaders' decision to leave office voluntarily and their behavior after leaving office. |
Dual Degree Links SIPA and São Paulo: As part of the effort to expand its network of global partners, SIPA has established a new dual degree with a school in São Paulo, Brazil. The deans from SIPA and Fundação Getulio Vargas Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo (FGV-EAESP) signed the agreement in New York on May 3. The first class is expected to enroll in the fall of 2010. More
