| SIWPS: Lessons of the Israeli-Hezbollah War—Early Observations September 06, 2006 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm EDT Professor Abraham Wagner is recently returned from the scene of the war. His early observations are based on information collected from the Israelis during the conflict, and subsequent discussions with officers in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the Israeli intelligence services, and government officials. Viewed in comparison to Israeli goals and objectives, the talk will focus on the conduct and strategy of the war as well as lessons and insights into various tactical, technological, and other military aspects of the conflict.
