Communiqué Launches New Web Site
Communiqué, SIPA’s student-run newspaper, launched its new Web site on April 22: http://columbiacommunique.org.The new online presence brings Communiqué into the 21st century, providing students with serious news and opinion reporting on SIPA and the world of international affairs.
Combining traditional text-based articles with more pictures, color and interactivity than print can offer, the Web site also provides a platform for multimedia exposés – audio, video, slideshows, and more. Communiqué online also provides a forum for student comments and ideas, links to relevant resources, and easy ways to share SIPA news with friends and family all over the world through Facebook and Twitter.
Communiqué will continue to publish in both traditional print format and online, so that student issues gain as much exposure as possible.Students are also invited to submit articles on any topic that SIPA students may be interested in: campus news, international reporting and opinion, to arts, culture and humor.
