Lucius Riccio: The Benefit of Logistics
SIPA faculty member Lucius Riccio is taking part in an initiative at UPS called “The New Logistics.” In the campaign, United Parcel Service (UPS) touts its use of logistics to help small businesses succeed and expand their global reach.
Riccio teaches management at SIPA and Columbia’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. He also served as commissioner of New York City’s Department of Transportation, board member of the MTA, and on the President’s Commission on Productivity.
For its internet and advertising campaigns, UPS turned to Riccio to discuss the benefits of logistics. In a web interview, he explains how supply chain partnerships are a key to being competitive. More
