Caroline Kay is New Associate Dean for Student Affairs
Dean John Coatsworth has appointed Caroline Kay as SIPA’s new Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
Kay is a veteran of SIPA, having previously served as Senior Assistant Dean in the Office of Student Affairs. She has been with Columbia University for 16 years, the past decade with SIPA.
“Dean Kay has earned the reputation among SIPA students, faculty, and staff as a devoted advocate for the entire student experience,” says Dean Coatsworth. “She will continue to leverage her extensive knowledge of the University community in ensuring all SIPA students have the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.”
The Office of Student Affairs provides a wide variety of services for SIPA students, from registration and academic advising to fellowship funding and graduation.
Kay holds a BA in Psychology and History from SUNY-Binghamton and an MA in Higher and Adult Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
