Gildete de Araujo Lima

Gildete de Araujo Lima graduated from Columbia University (Master of International Affairs) in May 2011. She concentrated in Economic and Political Development with a regional specialization in Latin America and professional track on Sustainable Development. She is from the Northeast Region of Brazil and brings extensive private sector experience with her.

 

Additionally, she worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization Agency (FAO - United Nations) as a Policy Officer in the Summer of 2010 and engaged herself in a Workshop Development Project for Columbia University in partnership with PepsiCo, in which she spent 7 month working as a Corporate Social Responsibility Consultant, assessing PepsiCo's value chain (suppliers) in Chile. She is currently working as a Senior Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Officer for one of the largest cosmetics company in the South of Brazil.

Jorge Paulo Lemann

Jorge Paulo Lemann co-founded the investment banking firm Banco Garantia and helped grow it into one of Brazil’s most prestigious and innovative investment banks. Lemann and his partners then purchased a Brazilian brewery that became InBev, one of the world’s largest beverage producers.
