Jamiah Elijah Harris

Jamiah Elijah Harris will complete his Master of International Affairs in Economic and Political Development in May of 2013.  His studies focus on the inspiring potential of social enterprise in alleviating some of the United States' and Brazil's most intransigent problems. Upon graduating, Jamiah hopes to leverage his experience in finance and social entrepreneurship with the tools provided through SIPA as a Lemann Fellow. Jamiah earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago, and was raised in Clovis, New Mexico; Kaiserslaughtern, Germany; and England.

Jorge Paulo Lemann

Jorge Paulo Lemann co-founded the investment banking firm Banco Garantia and helped grow it into one of Brazil’s most prestigious and innovative investment banks. Lemann and his partners then purchased a Brazilian brewery that became InBev, one of the world’s largest beverage producers.
