How to Apply

Brazilian students who apply to SIPA are automatically considered for a Lemann Fellowship, whether they choose to complete their program at SIPA or participate in the dual-degree program with Fundação Getulio Vargas Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo.

Fellowships are granted for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. Applicants are notified of their fellowship package upon admission to SIPA.

Jorge Paulo Lemann

Jorge Paulo Lemann co-founded the investment banking firm Banco Garantia and helped grow it into one of Brazil’s most prestigious and innovative investment banks. Lemann and his partners then purchased a Brazilian brewery that became InBev, one of the world’s largest beverage producers.
