LemannFellowship

Established by Brazilian entrepreneur Jorge Paulo Lemann, the Lemann Fellowship promotes student exchange between Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and Brazil. The Lemann Fellowship fund provides support to students with a deep interest in the overall advancement of Brazil, through their past, present, and future educational and professional experience.

Jorge Paulo Lemann

Jorge Paulo Lemann co-founded the investment banking firm Banco Garantia and helped grow it into one of Brazil's most prestigious and innovative investment banks. In 2001, Lemann founded the Lemann Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to improve education quality and opportunities in Brazil. Projects to achieve this goal include different scholarship programs, research and dissemination about best practices in education management and training programs for educational leaders.
