Fall 2008

Good news – there’s still time to apply for a Fulbright Scholar award in Eastern European and Eurasian studies! In order to further bolster the applicant pool, late applications are currently being accepted for the highly prestigious Fulbright-University of Warsaw Distinguished Chair in East European/Eurasian Studies (#9031).

This award consists of a 5 to 9 month distinguished lectureship at the Center for East European Studies, University of Warsaw. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, historical, political, cultural, and nationality issues of Eastern and Central Europe. U.S. citizenship and a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree are required. Also, because the distinguished chairs are the most prestigious of the Fulbright awards, candidates should have a prominent record of scholarly achievement. Take advantage of this opportunity to do specialized work in an international context while promoting cross-cultural understanding and international peace!
