Shira Loewenberg Shira Loewenberg is the Deputy Director of the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding, an initiative by Outward Bound to apply more than 60 years of expertise in experiential education to the needs of individuals living in regions of ethnic, ideological, and religious conflict around the world. Shira was an information officer with two United Nations peacekeeping missions, UNCRO and UNTAES, in the former Yugoslavia. With the support of CICR, she conducted research and, in 2006, had her paper on United Nations media strategy in peacekeeping operations published by the United Nations Peacekeeping Best Practices Section. Shira has a master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. |
