Carla Hammond

Ms. Carla Hammond is a Program Associate at CICR, where she is currently the manager of the Advanced Training Program on Genocide Prevention. In the spring of 2006, she participated in a comprehensive review of the United Nations’ capacity for conflict prevention. She previously worked as Program Director for OneVoice, an NGO that she helped start up in 2003. OneVoice seeks to empower ordinary Israeli and Palestinian citizens to wrest the agenda for conflict resolution away from violent extremists and to date has registered 209,079 Israeli and Palestinian members who have signed the OneVoice Proclamation to denounce violent extremism. She has been connected with the Center for International Conflict resolution since 2002, focusing her work on international security policy.
