Zeferino A. Guterres is the Regional Coordinator for BELUN. His responsibilities : Support Belun NGO/CBO partners, Identify and provide training needs of CBO partners and designing Agroforestry training program, Strengthen community institution building processes in the project implemented by partners (CBO’s), Monitor the implementation of activities as detailed/established in the monthly Work plan through regular field visit, Ensure that databases for project activities are established and updated.

Before joining BELUN in April 2005 Zeferino worked for CARE International from February 2000 until April 2005. Until March 2001, he worked in a food for work program, starting as a field officer and eventually becoming the Acting program’s officer. Zeferino then became the field facilitator capacity building in water and sanitation program (funded by CIDA Canada) in the districts of Ainaro, and starting with Community Base Natural Resources Management(CBNRM/ Agroforestry in February 2002 until march 2005.

Zeferino graduated from UNTL University’s, Dili, having studied Agriculture science/Crop production in 2004. He was born near Suai Covalima, November 03 th 1974.
