Rose Carmen Goldberg Rose Carmen Goldberg is a Master of Public Administration student at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. She is concentrating on Social Policy, specifically in the areas of criminal justice and public health. Before matriculating at Columbia, Rose studied in New Mexico. While studying Math and Philosophy at St. John’s College, she coordinated an education program at the New Mexico Penitentiary. She pursued her interest in criminal justice and health care access for incarcerated individuals by working at the San Francisco Hall of Justice. Rose has traveled in Asia, the Middle East, South America, and Europe in the capacity of a private photographer. She taught English and French to disadvantaged youths in Northern Brazil. Directly prior to commencing her studies at Columbia, Rose interned with the Washington, DC branch of Reporters Without Borders. She covered Senate hearings and conducted research on topics such as internet neutrality and freedom of expression and gender equity in the Middle East. |
