Mr. Enzo Maria Le Fevre Cervini, is a consultant in conflict resolution and development with a specialization in local conflicts in urban contexts. At present he is working on various projects in Africa and he is editing a publication about genocide prevention. Since March 2006 he is a Research Associate at CICR focusing on genocide prevention and urban conflict resolution. His research interests are mainly related to conflicts, displaced people, human rights, development and active civil society. He has been working for various NGOs in South America, Africa, and Europe, and as a consultant for the Italian Center for European Information and Documentation, the Italian Ministry of Education, and the Italian Embassy in Sudan. Enzo participated in the OSCE’s Election Monitoring Mission in Moldova and carried out a mission for UNPO in Gagauzia. He edited publications about the European Union and African Conflicts and organized various international conferences on genocide and conflict. He is an advisor of the Italian Association of Political Sciences and is a Supervisory Committee Member of the International Association of Political Science Students. After his studies in Belgium, he now holds a specialization on Studies of Peace, Democratization and Conflict Management at the University of Roma Tre. He will soon apply for a Ph.D. at the Columbia University. He lives between Rome and New York.
