Melissa got her BA from Columbia University in Political Science and is interested in informal economies and service provision as well as in civil society movements. Professionally and academically her work has focused on the Middle East, nuclear disarmament, and the role of civil society in policy making. Melissa maintains oversees the Center's administration and coordinates conference events.
