How to get to SIPA?

Take #1 train to the 116 Street Stop. Exit the train station. You will be on Broadway (go across the campus) towards Amsterdam Avenue (1 block towards the East Side of Manhattan). At Amsterdam Avenue and 116th Street make a left and go to 118th Street. At 118th Street make a right and go to 420 West 118th Street. You have arrived at SIPA.

 

How do I register for class?

The Picker Center is responsible for this you do not need to worry about this.

 

How do I order my books for class?

The Teaching Assistant for your class will be distributing the textbooks to you in class so you do not need to worry about this.

 

How do I find a room or housing?

Your contact Abdulkarim H. ALDekayel will be able to help you with this matter.

 

How do I print stuff out for class?

You have been assigned a columbia UNI which is a student account. Through this account you will be able to print some items out. This will be discussed at orientation.

 

Orientation, where is this taking place?

Orientation will take place on Monday, January 30th at 8am. Details were emailed to you.

 

Do I have access to computer labs and libraries?

Yes you do all of those specifics will be discussed at Orientation.
