Thank you for your interest in the International Fellows Program at SIPA. The International Fellows Program (IFP) is a course of graduate study that offers a greater understanding of the evolution of international affairs and teaches the tools of international problem solving.
The International Fellows Program is a two-semester seminar open to students from all graduate degree programs at Columbia University. It comprises fellows from a diverse variety of professional backgrounds, intellectual perspectives, and nationalities. Fellows have a strong interest in American foreign policy and plan to apply lessons of the Program to their careers, whether in government, private practice, or education.
By submitting your application to the IFP, you are stating your intention to enroll in the two semesters of coursework that is required for the Program. Fellows receive a stipend for each semester of participation. If you have questions about the IFP or about the application process, please email sipa_ifp@columbia.edu.
