Biography:
Roy Nersesian focuses on energy modeling and marine transportation.
Nersesian has worked in a wide variety of capacities in the bulk shipping industry for oil and dry bulk commodities including being a consultant at a tanker brokerage firm.
He is author of @Risk Bank Credit and Financial Analysis, Evolver Solutions for Business, and RISKOptimizer for Business Applications (Palisade, 2011). He has also completed the manuscript for Energy Risk Modeling from which his course on energy modeling is drawn. He also wrote Energy in the 21st Century (2nd Edition M. E. Sharpe, 2010)
Nersesian also teaches at Monmouth University Leon Hess School of Business.
Nersesian holds a BS in physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He served for eight years in the U.S. Navy, with his last position as chief engineer on a Polaris submarine.
