Biography:

Preston Keat is Adjunct Associate Professor at SIPA and a managing director and head of political and country risk at UBS. In this role he is involved in a broad range of activities, including scenario planning, portfolio stress testing, country risk methodology development, and firm wide political risk management. He also leads the firm's internal "risk think tank."  Prior to joining UBS, Preston was director of research and Europe practice head at Eurasia Group, a political risk research and consulting firm. He holds a Ph.D. from UCLA, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. from the College of William and Mary.
