Biography:
Neil Quartaro is an attorney with the international law firm Watson, Farley & Williams, LLP, where he works in the International Litigation Group at the firm's New York office. Neil specializes in maritime law, where he focuses on litigation and arbitration, and has advised and represented vessel owners, insurers, and charterers in blue and brown water matters.
Neil has recently worked on matters ranging from an on-board to explosion aboard an underway bulk carrier to the acquisition of a major LPG ship-owning company, as well as typical maritime work such as vessel acquisitions, salvage cases, and maritime arrests and attachments. Neil joined the Firm in 2004, having previously worked at a maritime litigation firm, where he was involved in a number of significant matters, ranging from cargo claim defense to organizing a new ocean carrier under U.S. law.
Neil is admitted to and has appeared before the State and Federal Courts in New York, and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also active with the Admiralty Committee of Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
