Biography:
Salah has been employed full-time or as a consultant in a strategy and business development role for over 11 years. After receiving his B.A. from Columbia University, he began his professional career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company. His keen interest in media led him to the Bertelsmann Music (now Sony Music), where he was a founding member of the Digital Music Group. Salah spent two years working with companies like Apple and Napster to develop a legitimate digital music marketplace. After Sony Music, Salah returned to Columbia to earn his MBA, and joined the Media practice at McKinsey & Company upon graduating. Salah has since left McKinsey and has been running his own boutique consultancy for over three years.
In his personal time, Salah is very involved as committee member and pro-bono consultant for Playwrights Horizons, an off-Broadway theatre house. He also runs the athletics program for the Network of Arab American Professionals (NAAP).
