Biography:
Jefrey Pollock is the President of Global Strategy Group, LLC (GSG). Most recently, he was named to Crain's NY Business "40 under 40" which singles out rising stars in the New York City business community.

Pollock is regularly sought by presidential candidates, governors, members of Congress, leading advocacy organizations, and Fortune 100 companies for his expertise. Political clients include  Governors Joe Manchin, WV; Brian Schweitzer, MT; Chet Culver, IA; and Dave Freudenthal, WY; Senators Kirsten Gillibrand, NY and Arlen Specter, PA,; New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, the United States Senate Democratic Policy Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and several members of Congress including Carolyn McCarthy (D, NY), Loretta and Linda Sanchez (D, CA), Patrick Murphy (D, PA), Steve Israel (D, NY), Bob Filner (D, CA), Tim Bishop (D, NY), John Hall (D, NY), Greg Meeks (D, NY), Nita Lowey (D, NY), Joe Crowley (D, NY), Carol Shea Porter (D, NH), and Bill Foster (D, IL).

Pollock was part of the research and strategy team for former President of the Dominican Republic Leonel Fernández and formerly worked for Governor Pedro Rossello of Puerto Rico. In addition, he has provided research services for campaigns in international locations such as Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia and Kazakhstan.

Pollock has conducted issue advocacy research, brand analysis and attitudinal studies for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, the Eli Broad Foundation, Condé Nast Publications, Starwood Hotels, USA Network, Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, YMCA of the USA, Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, the Hispanic Federation, and New York magazine. He also helped the New York Yankees launch their cable channel, the YES Network.

Pollock regularly serves as a political pundit on CNN, MSNBC, and FOX News Channel, and his writings have been published by the Associated Press, Philadelphia Inquirer, New York Newsday, Campaigns & Elections magazine, the Polling Report, and msnbc.com. He also has served as the moderator for focus groups with voters for ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos. And Pollock has testified before the United States House Ways and Means Committee to discuss American public opinion on tax reform.In addition to his appointment as adjunct assistant professor at SIPA, Pollock has guest lectured at the United States Military Academy at West Point, the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management, and the Fels School of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves on the national board of the American Association of Political Consultants.

Pollock holds a BA in American History (with a concentration in American government) from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Public Administration from SIPA.
