Biography:
Judy Gearhart is the Program Director at SAI and adjunct lecturer at Columbia University. She has worked on democratization, women's rights and labor rights for SEDEPAC, an NGO based in Mexico City. She later worked for UNICEF and the ILO in Honduras - developing a monitoring and evaluation program for UNICEF and coordinating a multi-disciplinary study on child labor for the ILO. Gearhart has participated in numerous public fora and published on topics including: NGO networks' influence on policy-making, child labor, and corporate social responsibility. Gearhart holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Human Rights Advocates Program of the Center for the Study of Human Rights.
