Biography:
Ira N. Gang is a Professor of Economics at Rutgers University, and is a research fellow of IZA, Bonn and CReAM, London. He is currently Associate Editor of the Journal of Population Economics and on the Editorial Boards of several journals, including the Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, and the Indian Growth and Development Review. He was one of the founding editors of the Review of Development Economics.
Gang has published widely on development, migration and public policy, public choice, political economy and labor economics in leading economics journals.
Gang holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University, and an MA and PhD from Cornell University. He also received a Certificate of International Studies from the Bologna Center of the School of Advanced International Studies.
