Biography:

Camilla Nestor teaches Microfinance & the Capital Markets. She has 15 years of experience in microfinance and banking, including six years of field experience as technical advisor to microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Southeast Asia, the Balkans/Caucasus, and Africa, complemented by commercial banking experience arranging credit-enhanced financings for firms in developing countries, including SME lenders, microfinance institutions, and leasing companies. She is currently Vice President of Microfinance at the Grameen Foundation, where she is responsible for strategic and day-to-day oversight of all of Grameen Foundation’s global microfinance programs, including capital markets, social performance management, human capital and a new program focused on building economic opportunities for the poorest.
