Biography:
Carolyn Buck Luce is an adjunct professor, teaching "Management and Gender."
Buck Luce is the global life sciences sector leader at Ernst & Young LLP where she coordinates worldwide relationships with global pharmaceutical corporations. Buck Luce serves on various management and leadership committees at Ernst & Young and chairs Ernst & Young's Professional Women's Network for the tri-state area.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Ms. Buck Luce spent seventeen years in lending, investment banking, consulting, and government service, where she was involved in a diverse range of capital market activities for both public and private companies in a wide variety of industries. She began her career with the U.S. State Department in the Soviet Union, stationed in Uzbeckistan, Azerbaijan and Moscow.
She is co-chair of the Center for Work-Life Policy's task force "The Hidden Brain Drain: Women and Minorities as Unrealized Assets." She is the coauthor of several Harvard Business Review articles. Buck Luce currently serves on the NYC Commission on Women's Issues and on the board of the New York Women's Foundation, and has served as a director on various corporate boards.
Buck Luce received her BS from Georgetown University and her MBA from Columbia University.
