Jessica Barnes
Jessica Barnes graduated from the PhD program in Sustainable Development in 2010. Her research focuses on water management, agricultural policy, and climate change in Egypt and the Middle East. A book based on her doctoral research, entitled Cultivating the Nile: The Everyday Politics of Water in Egypt is forthcoming with Duke University Press. Jessica is currently a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Climate and Energy Institute and Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
Jessica holds a B.A. in Geography from Oxford University and a Master's in Environmental Management from Yale's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
