Concentration Requirements
Students choose a specialty concentration within one of twelve fields:
- Advanced Policy and Economic Analysis
- Economic and Political Development (EPD)
- Environmental Policy Studies (EPS)
- Human Rights (HR)
- International Economic Policy (IEP)
- International Energy Management and Policy (IEMP)
- International Finance and Policy
- International Media and Communications (IMC)
- International Security Policy (ISP)
- Management and Institutional Analysis
- Social Policy
- Urban Policy
Each of these broad concentrations has a concentration director and its own course requirement or requirements. Students should consult with their concentration director in fulfilling these requirements.
Electives
Electives are designed to expose students to the broader frameworks of public policy development and implementation. Courses are chosen in consultation with a faculty adviser.
