Social Policy
This concentration is intended for students whose interests in policy include those issues that affect social welfare in the areas of education, employment, race and ethnicity, gender, immigration and immigrant incorporation, and health.
Students can focus on a specific area of social policy or tailor the concentration to fit their unique interests. In fulfilling the concentration requirements, students often include courses from other graduate schools within Columbia University, such as the School of Social Work, Teacher's College, the Business School, the Mailman School of Public Health and the Law School.
