Internship Panel
Four 2nd year IEP students talked about their internship experiences over the summer, sharing with other students the positives and negatives of their experiences. After the panel presentation, over lunch, students got a chance to mingle and ask questions of the panelists and other IEP students.

IEP Retreat
Camp Talcott
1st and 2nd year students spend a weekend at Camp Talcott in up-state NY. A weekend away during the first weeks of school gives students a much-needed breather before the semester erupts. More importantly, the returning students get a chance to reconnect with friends and new students get a chance to bond with classmates with similar interests.

approaches to regulating their investments. Introduction by Merit Janow, professor in the Practice of Economic Law and International Affairs.

Federal Reserve Gold Vault Tour
A group of IEP’ers were able to visit the Fed's vault, which contains over $100 Billion worth of gold, roughly 30 percent of the world's official monetary gold reserves. The tour offered a rare glimpse of the gold, as well as the history of the gold-based monetary system.

Internship Coffee Hour

1st-year IEP’ers were invited to an informal internship coffee hour to talk with 2nd-years about the internship process. Some of the internships represented were The Albright Group, Department of State, UNDP, Finca International, BNP Paribas, Chrysler Daimler, AIG, and McKinsey & Company.
