Recommended Schedule for Required Courses
The following matrices allow students to visualize their academic program and indicate a suggested sequencing of required EPS courses, possible timing/sequencing of classes for the Environmental Policy and Environmental Economics clusters, some key EPS electives, and some required SIPA courses. It is not our intention to suggest that students take all these classes or adhere strictly to this schedule.
Furthermore, we strongly recommend that incoming students discuss their options with/seek advice from the Program Assistant, returning students, and faculty members so they can make informed decisions.
The second and third semesters are excellent times to group environmental courses and to develop an area of expertise by doing interrelated term papers and class projects. The second semester can better prepare you for your summer internship. The third semester can better prepare you for the job market.
